- Essential — authentication and session cookies required to sign in and use the portal. These cannot be switched off.
- Security — cookies that help verify requests and protect against fraudulent activity.
- Preferences — local storage of your selected journal and light/dark theme so the interface stays consistent.
Analytics
Where enabled, we use privacy-respecting product analytics to understand how the platform is used in aggregate. These are used to improve the product, never to identify individuals for advertising.
