Clear terms for a trusted workflow
These terms set the expectations for authors, reviewers and editors who use AuthXpress to manage scholarly publishing.
User responsibilities
Authors must ensure that submitted manuscripts are original, have not been published elsewhere and follow the selected journal's author guidelines. Every co-author must approve the submitted version.
Account security
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential. Each journal portal maintains separate authentication, so credentials registered with one journal do not automatically apply to another.
Submission policy
Manuscripts submitted through AuthXpress are subject to peer review. The journal's editorial team may accept a submission, request revisions or reject it in accordance with its editorial policies.
Data usage
Personal information collected during registration is used for editorial correspondence and manuscript tracking. We do not sell your personal information or share it for third-party advertising.
Intellectual property
Authors retain copyright in their work until a formal publication agreement states otherwise. Submitting a manuscript does not, by itself, transfer copyright.
Publishing ethics
Authors must disclose conflicts of interest and obtain all necessary ethics approvals before submission. Fabrication, falsification or plagiarism may result in rejection and may be reported to the author's institution.
